I had an amazing stay at this yurt! The location was incredible, surrounded by nature and just a short walk to Blakeney village. The yurt itself was cozy and spacious, with a warm fire in the middle and candlelit ambiance. The hosts were friendly and the cleaner was helpful. I even woke up to deer in the garden one morning. Will definitely come back in the summer.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

A warm and welcoming family greeted us at this charming yurt accommodation. The facilities were spotless and we were blown away by the amazing yurt itself. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and the perfect setting for a family break. We had everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to a cozy and clean bathroom. The grounds were a great space for the kids to run free and explore.
While we loved everything about our stay, the only small improvement could be made to the car parking area. It would have been nice to have some outdoor seating with back support near the BBQ, although the logs provided were a nice touch.

The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was well-equipped , and the bathroom was perfect. The grounds were spacious, allowing our kids to run around freely and enjoy the great outdoors. Despite a slightly challenging path from the car to the yurt, especially in the rain, it was well worth it for the unique experience. we cannot recommend Oakdean Cottage Yurt enough. It's a hidden gem in a beautiful location, and we will definitely be returning, perhaps even in the autumn to witness the forest's transformation.

Our family recently stayed at a yurt in a beautiful location near the Forest of Dean. We loved the rustic kitchen and eating area, as well as the cozy yurt with a fire in the center. The surrounding views were stunning, and we even spotted deer in the garden. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed exploring the forest right outside our doorstep and the treehouse was a hit with the kids. Despite the simple way of life, we had all the necessary facilities including toilets, showers, and even an outdoor fire oven. It was a memorable experience, and we will definitely be back in the summer.
The only minor downside was limited comfortable seating outside and the pestering chickens looking for food. Additionally, the path to the kitchen and campfire could benefit from more lighting.
